Research Interests

My main interests in theology and philosophy are Christology, metaphysics, medieval philosophy, and the doctrine of God.

With regard to biblical studies, I’m interested in Greek grammar, the New Testament use of the Old Testament, the Gospel of John, and the book of Revelation.

My goal in my research is to integrate Christian theology and philosophy in such a way that I can make contributions to both fields. I’d like to follow the lead of many scholars today who are allowing exegetical and philosophical concerns to guide, and to be combined within, their work. In short, I want to be able to converse with both biblical scholars and philosophers at the highest levels.
