Yesterday the London Lyceum released a podcast episode where we discuss Oneness Pentecostalism. Jordan and Brandon were very organized with the whole thing, and they were very accommodating. The entire process was excellent, and I’m very thankful for the opportunity. I don’t think this is the last that we will hear from each other!
That podcast episode is largely a summary of the work I have done on Oneness Pentecostalism so far, and it’s a subject on which I will hopefully continue to publish in the future. I realized that I never finished my blog posts that walk through what I was thinking for my TheoLogica paper, and I will finish that up soon.
Other than this niche area of mine, my reading is spread across several subjects. But I am mostly doing research for a several-part presentation I will call “The Visible of the Invisible Father,” which will cover material that I have already posted on a little bit.
By the time I’m done with that, I’ve wondered if I’ll basically have everything I need to write a book on the subject. But who knows; that would be several years down the line anyway.
In the next month or so I’ll have at least one other media appearance, you might say. I am currently collaborating with Beau Branson on a sort of “podcast” episode that we hope to record soon. In addition to that, I have discussed the possibility of appearing on two YouTube channels, both run by biblical unitarians, to discuss my Oneness Pentecostal background and the monarchy of the Father.
It’s already been 12 weeks in the quarantine period for the coronavirus. Thankfully my occupation is an “essential” one, and we are continuing to stay afloat in this economic downturn. Even though I don’t yet have financial worries in all of this, this period has (to no surprise) affected me and my family greatly. We are finding ways to cope, and it will be a long road to recovery. Other than what we are trying to do together at home, I hope that keeping busy with these theological projects will partially assist with my own coping and recovery. I am also going to take a hiatus from all social media.
For those who read this, please keep us in your prayers.
